I got this for $15, could you tell me the grade and if it was a good buy? I dont know anything about paper money

It looks like it around VF condition - Hard to tell from the pictures, they are a little blurry.

This note has a book value of $10 in VF and $12 in EF

It was my first piece of paper money,so paying an extra 3-5 dollars wasnt bad and thanks for the info

Yeah, it wasn't too bad. Just like coins, Paper Money is addicting.

I'm a sucker for the '54 $5, the Otter Falls back has to be nicest for the series, and the earlier signature printings of the modifieds (Beattie Coyne) tend to have deeper blue ink colours and signature ink which I find add to their eye appeal.

Is it devil's face or modified? I collect devil's face myself they are worth more.
