So I have gone through 24ish penny rolls and have found like 8 Canadian Pennies. I feel like if collecting Lincoln cents you might as well start collecting Canadian pennies as well....

You could, its definetly a possibility. I find a lot of canadians in my penny roll searching. The oldest I have found is 1941, but one time I found like 170 canadians in a single box!

I collect all that I come across. They are kind of hard to come by in southern Kentucky.

I have put together a small cent collection from roll searching in buffalo ny from 1920-present. I am missing some of the varieties and the rare coins from the late 20's and such, but yeah if you are in the right part of the usa go for it
I have collections of each canadian coin but the half dollar, my loonies and toonies are a little weak too, but whatever lol

I am 2/3 of the way through a box of cents and have come across 5 Canadian cents in this box so far, by far the most I've gotten in a box here in Texas. The oldest of the bunch is '55.
Rest in Peace

Lotsa Canadian in boxes of cents here in Florida along with coins from the Bahamas, Caymans, Mexico, Panama, Curacao etc. So far I've found coins from 28 different countries in cent boxes.

this may be a dumb question but, what is the size difference between the Canadian cent and the Lincoln?

could you order a blank pages dansco and put Canadian cents in them?

I keep all the Canadian pennies I find in circulation. My stupid conscience won't let me "sneak" them back into bank rolls. I figure that the bank shouldn't take the hit because Brinks can't figure out the difference between the two coins.

Anything before 1997 gets "hoarded", since the copper content is greater than in any US copper coin. It's not illegal to melt Canadian pennies in the US!

Any Canadian steel pennies I find immediately go in the trash.

Yes. This is what I have done to hold my Canadian finds. One day I will actually make an effort to fill all of the holes.

Here in central Ohio it's not unusual to find one or two Canadian pennies in each bank roll of U.S. cents. I too keep all of the ones I find and have been able to build a nice set of them, including some of the rarer varieties... oldest found so far is a 1936.
