it could be a capped Die strike or a Struck Through Grease,, the pics are a little small to be sure which.

Im leaning toward capped die for now ,,but that opinion may change with larger pictures.

A coin with that much detail missing is very likely a struck through capped die, and is worth something significant. I don't know how much, because I don't do errors, but I would figure at least $10...probably more.
