178 Silver Coin Cach Pre 1840

Increadible, several thousand dollars at least of coins right there. So many Bust halves lol

I watched the whole vid...amazing find!
The conditions were pretty good for preserving the silver.

I just watched this video with my 8 year old son and the entire thing kept us mesmerized. I cannot believe this guys luck. I wonder what the heck made him detect there. I have detected over the years and he must of had some good info. I would have been so excited with one let alone 178! I wonder what the combined value ended up being?

Gets me to thinking...I plan to buy a detector this week (PayDay)..my hunting leases have two dry creeks that runs through them. Probably been there for God knows how long. They aren't always dry. I may find nothing but tin cans and barbed wire but I'll have to walk them and check them out along with the old homesteads on the place. I won't have a report like this but maybe I find something worth reporting next weekend.
