Hi.
I got 4 Morgans. Three from 1921 and one 1896. So now I have 1921 26,79g, 26,74g and 26,71g, 1896 26,75g, 1878 26,69g and 1890 26,60g. Of course home scale. I'm confuse ... I read a lot of posts about chinese fakes, Weight Tolerance etc. I know there were a lot of stamps so coins can be a little bit different. Circulation... But how can I be sure I have real Morgans? 1978 is 1878-P VAM-84A as I know and maybe 1890 is ok (I presented photos two days ago on forum). But the rest?

All of those weights are well within expected limits. Unless your home scale is a very professional and expensive model, those numbers are probably also within its' margin for error.

Good to know. But when I read about very good chinese , sorry:), I'm starting to worry. It's not about silver or value but a real history in hand.

What you have read about good Chinese fakes is probably all true. They're very capable counterfeiters. Heck, Chinese fakes of purer silver than the originals have been found. This is not meant to cause you panic, but to inspire healthy skepticism.

You have easier in U.S. Probably you have a lot of Morgan experts and you can grade coins. Here I can check if there is .900 silver ;).
