Thanks

Thanks, I use chase as well. I went to one branch and they told me I had to have a business account with them to order in boxes. I went to another branch and they ordered me a box and did not even ask for my account info. I just wanted to make sure I was not spinning my wheels at a bank that was going to be an issue. I have considered getting accounts at a couple of other banks just to see if I can improve my chances of getting some good rolls and wanted to make sure there were not any banks to avoid.
Thanks
BB

Chase has always been good to me. I've never been refused coins there, and I don't even have an account.

Chase has always been excellent to me also, but I use them for my dump bank. I hope you all aren't getting my rejects.

I use Affinity Credit Union for my coins related stuff as there are absolutely zero fees. They're also currently negotiating with Coinstar to see if I'll be able to purchase bags of halfs from the coin counter there. They also do next day coin orders which has been shiny. :-)

I've never had a problem with Chase. US Bank is charging 3.00 a box now (see ya), and about the same to turn them in.

I have my account with Chase. I went into a Wells Fargo which was closer to work to see what they offered (maybe as a dump bank) and the guy had to ask the manager if they could give me boxes. I didn't feel comfortable ro confident with their accounts necessary to avoid fees. I am freindly with the head teller at my local Chase bank but she has forgotten to order my boxes on more than one occasion (however I am sure as is the case with most businesses nowadays they are understaffed, overworked, etc as I am at work )

I avoid the banks that don't give up the silver. I've found that in the long run, it's WAY cheaper to buy my silver. Not nearly as fun though.

I use the bank where we have an account (Charter One)for several reasons:
1. There are two branches that have coin counting machines and don't have a surcharge for its use. 2. The tellers recognize and get to know me as a customer and regular. I visit the branches at times when the aren't busy so I don't become an annoyance. 3. When the tellers get to know me I can ask about new issues of a specific coin and be confident that they will help.
Charter One has be a great partner in my objective of building complete sets.

I bank at U.S. Bank and have not had a problem yet either ordering or dumping halves.

I've had an account at US Bank for over 30 years and have never had a problem with fees for anything. So much depends on the branch, the manager, the teller, the day, etc. Usually I've had better luck with some of the smaller, local banks when I've dealt with half dollars. They've let me go through their bags but I've never bought boxes of them. It's all about charm....
