Any help with attribution and mint mark is appreciated. Not sure if this coin will reveal the exact emperor? So far I have it listed as a late Roman emperor. I think that the mint mark is Antioch. I think the reverse is Athena holding Victory? Happy Holidays! Thanks in advance!

Hello friends,

I believe this coin is from Antioch which didn't mint this type for Constantius II. Instead, I believe this is actually Valens.

RIC IX Antioch 12b. (Officina 1 or 4)

O:DN VALENS-PF AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right

R:SECVRITAS-REIPVBLICAE, Victory advancing left, holding
wreath and palm branch. ANT[A or delta] in exergue

Cheers,

-Kurt

That coin is similar to this coin I just purchased which is a Valens with a SECVRITAS-REIPVBLICAE reverse.
