It was so bad that even the mintmark had fallen off (there was a D shaped crater where the mm used to be). Anyways interesting find. Report this Post to the Staff

The bubbles haven't burst through the copper plating yet so the whole coin looks like it has chicken pox or something. I was wondering what caused that. The zinc corroding?
