I've got a 1875 Seated Liberty half dollar left to me by my grandfather. What is your armchair/grade of this coin ?
The only detail flaw is the "E" in the Shield.. otherwise sho . detail very well.. circulated coin.

CadillacOfTheSky, to this sight.

Your 1975-s half dollar should grade at VF 35 and looks to be problem free to me. A nice old half dollar.

and I like your 1875 S Seated Liberty Half!

A nice VF-30 (IMO) example of a great coin type!

You have a very nice original looking half dollar that I would put as VF-35.

Thanks for the replies.. I wasn't sure if I'd get many responses. I saw the member ebay link here which is a great feature of this site but 100 post are needed and I'm brand new.

You realize there's a reason for that rule, right?

Detail is consistent with XF-40 despite the weakness in LIBERTY, which is common.

My first impression is VF-30. Although depending on how typical weak Liberty is on this date, it could go a step or two higher, maybe EF.

I agree with coinguybrian, it looks like an EF.

Another, question: coinguybrian, you were formerly named Shadow Creator right, was just wondering?
