Ausjack Pillar of the Community Australia 841 Posts	Posted 12/30/2011 8:20 pm Everyone's done a brilliant (hehehe) job cleaning their coins, but nancy you've got it licked mate I now know where to send mine And as for the bloke that done this, I think he did something different to all of you going off the second pic of the 36 with the kings head as it looks very funny like when paint crazes..I wonder if he give it a fine coat of lacquer or the like to try and seal the luster..just another thought. And my eyes aren't the best Could you please have a good look for me trout and see if it is crazed or if it's just the angle or lighting or something. You've got a good one there Cheers mate. Ausjack Pillar of the Community Australia 841 Posts	Posted 12/30/2011 9:18 pm Don't know but I would've thought sand blasting might pit the coin but yours look ok so to speak..the little dots are still on the crown. But I don't think he's used any method anyone has shown..I think it's just going to be one of those secrets of the universal Hold on..I wonder if he did a combo and used something like your tarnoff then give them a good rub to age them a little..just so strange being so clean but then looking a little dirty but also polised all at the same time. Look for the shadowing..they nearly look the reverse of the others being so clean where others are dirty. I think I'd be avoiding him from now on Sorry I couldn't help Yeah! Right! In a pig's eye.
