Has anyone bought lots like this? I'm kinda wondering whata they give people. Like dates, silver coins, or just all moderns. Slabbed coins are pretty cool. Odviously your not going to get something great, but maybe its worth the money. Has anyone ever bought lots like these?
Thanks,
Ty

Bad, especially from this seller. thursdaynightdollars has terrible negative/neutral feedback with a LOT of Mutually Withdrawn negatives to keep his feedback score up. He's also on our "seller not recommended" list. His auctions have so many red flags (e.g., private bidder ID) that one would think he's got a controlling interest in a red cloth factory.

While I have bought on a whim a couple lots similar to these offered, very very seldom do they come even close to delivering what is advertised. The images always show the top coins a seller has in his inventory. Most of what is actually sent is junk.

Ty, you can buy generic empty slabs to put coins into and thats basiclly all this seller has done. If you want to buy slabbed coins stay with reputable grading companies,PCGS,NGC,ICG,ANACS. My personal opinion is this seller is putting junk coins in slabs and hyping them so the bidders think their getting a real deal.

Note: no returns on his slabbed coins. 10 BIDS people think they can buy 99,000 dollars worth of coins for 100.00.ebay needs to put a stop to these sellers!

I find it suspicious that all of his previous auctions are private. Its as if he doesn't want you to see the junk he has sold in the past.

His return policy is credit given. So he gets your money either way. And if you do return the lot you will just get stuck with another junk lot, like he said "Not one of those junk put together sets like I see"

Thanks for the heads up, everyone. Yeah, I guess I wouldn't want to end up with a bunch of ANI graded coins...

I have. I won't do that again. I'd rather by a raw lot in a bag (preferably a mint bag).

Trends I would assume that's the normal PCGS Trend thing they like to do. I still wish there was a way to block dealers from our searches.

You don't sell good coins in junk lots like this. Good coins stand on their own.

Well said, bitters. Most often, a lot will include one halfway decent coin, sort of as a feature and attractant with the rest unsalable junk coins. Hyped, of course.
