i just recalled an old paint stirrer I have, was used to stir shellac many many years back and nothing since, it has a similar appearance to the coinand it is a strip of copper earth strip/band ( I dont recall proper name now) used in power stations

I have been caught out by glue before. A rather unusual error coin turns out to be nothing noteworthy at all. Bugger!
