I have been searching Kennedy half rolls for a while now and was wondering if there are many known varieties out there beyond the RedBook listed 74 DDO? I would like to start looking for more then just silver, NIFC, and proofs. Any of our local experts, I would love to see anything you would add to the list that would be worth looking out for. Please leave off one of a kind coins or things of a unique nature. I am looking for things that are known to exist such as other DDO / DDRs, obverse/reverse of differing years, etc.....thanks in advance

there are many varieties beyond that DDO. I'd pick up the just released Cherry Picker's Guide or if you'd like to wait, Walmart is releasing a paperback version for $19.95 soon. I found two varieties in my Dansco including a 1971-D DDO that sells for about $150 in a PCGS holder.

Don't support Wal-mart if you can help it. Go to a coin dealer or order cheaper from one online. ICK.

Awesome, how did I not know they just published another guide? Also, I noticed that the other two volumes are now on KINDLE! Take them anywhere, WOW! Cool! At Amazon you can request the new volume be release for Kindle, too.

Look for the 1972P, Doubled Die Obverse.
Real nice DDO on the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST"

On the 90% Siver Kennedy's, the 1964D has a fantastic Doubled Die Obverse and there is also a quadrupled DDO which is coupled up with a RPM on the Reverse!

Good luck!

The CPG has over 40 listings for Kennedy half dollars so that would probably be the best place for you to start.
