Ok I am almost positive this one meets the AU grade I have been looking for even though I believe it has been dipped at some time but the detail is amazing on this beauty, what do all of you think about thisen

Bryan, yep she is a beaut, yep appears she has been cleaned, yep she is pushing AU and yep you should give her to me. I am curious about the difference in the amount of cleaning from front to back. Jim

its been dipped not harshly cleaned because I can see no lines even with the QX5 except for a few circulating lines and I can handle a dipping here and there, its the harshly cleaned coins I try to stay away from. It looks like it was dipped some time ago and has started to tone from being in an album and thats why there is a difference between the Obverse and Reverse and around the rim of the coin

I agree with you that it has probably been dipped, but not harshly cleaned.

I also agree that you found a really nice AU coin there. It might go higher than AU50 (possibly 53?) but it's hard for me to tell that from the pics. With the weaker strike on the reverse, it's easier to tell this with the coin in-hand.

Very nice addition!

What he said, especially about the "give it to me" part.

Actually, it wouldn't fit with my Crusty Bustie theme, so you can keep it. Lovely coin.
