Yes Gordon2108 you did an outstanding job. After experimenting with all kinds of techniques lately the operative word is .... slowly! Next time I clean one, I'm sticking with the British Museum's time constraints..
10 minutes in the solution to maximum of 1/2 hours, regardless if it is lime juice or the rochelle salt solution!
