If that is a dollar coin it is a TOTALLY new design. the head of the roo is tilted dferantly and the roo above it is in full flight insead of jus hopping, also the tip of the "1" is in a totally differant place than it should be. Can you post a pic of the entire coin please

I'd just say it's the angle the pic was taken trout. As for the other I'll leave that to the big boys sorry

Laurena, Somtimes it does it to me . I just click on the explorer icon (botom left of your screen)and it shows up.

Sorry larena . I was having a bit of fun, spin the coin 60degrees to the left and you will see what I mean. Normally if the fault in the coin is a raised bit of metal it is normally 99% a error. If the fault is a dent or gouge in the metal 99% PMDEither turn the coin on it's side to see if it is a raised bit,or close your eyes and run the tip of your finger over it. Good on you for hunting these down, thats half the fun

Trout I'm still a noob and haven't gotten into "errors" as yet besides half claws and 20c "gaps" do you have any errors for sale or anything? thanks mate

Aarong, the only errors I have are pre decimal pennys. I have spare 1924 filled4,1931 dropped"1", and a 1964 frankenstine penny (big lump in the Queens neck).Take your pick and I will send you one for free. I had a better one but I have promised that to Larena. Just PM you postal address.

the big mac mark on the first pic I often see, not sure what it is but I think some sort of coin counter mark
