I don't keep everything I get in hand and let's not talk about where it goes. Instead let's have a look at the items I decided were nice today for one reason or another and will hopefully make their way into someones treasured collection one day.

The 33 twenty five cent piece is OK but my favourite is that purple toned cent. I'm a sucker for nice toning. The obverse on the fishscale is too blury to post but it's the same quality on both sides. I pulled one out of the fire for our cousins down south as well, not a great piece but a great piece of history with legible date. There are others but these are the photos that turned out OK enough to post. I need to get my lens and tripod set up again.

That 33 is a good looking quarter. Looks to be all original luster. Nice overall pickups!

I wouldn't mind if that 33 made it's way to my collection.

Did you dip that 33? If not, then the previous owner did....

Yeah I think it was dipped about three years ago, toning is just returning but it's hard to make on in the photo, I posted it in the grading forum. It's still too good to melt.

Edit: I'm guessing the time frame based on toning creep which is easier to see in hand. I don't actually know when it happened, this stuff came in this week in a box.
