If this is posted somewhere else, I'm sorry to duplicate it here. I just read this on Yahoo.

Check your coins, do you have one?

Hi LeAnn, your posting reminded that I know where two coins are that the owner calls spy coins. He claims they carried microfilm or the like. He has two of them, Lincoln cents where they have machined out the inside of one and machined down the rim and inside of another creating a small cavity when they are fitted together. Oh, they are also heads on both sides. Anyone glancing at them would never notice, but this would keep the carrier from spending, or carrying separately from their regular pocket change. Sure don't know if this is accurate, but it makes a great story. If he ever wants to sell them, I will sure buy em.

Zonad and LeAnn, After LeAnn's post and reading this I went and purchased the hollow penny I was telling you about here. I will post on it separately and send pics later when I learn how. Jim

Zonad,
Cool story, never heard of it before, but there are probably dozens of them out there. That's when spying was spying, now it's not like.

Jim, if you need help with pictures, Susan is very helpful and knowledgeable.
