We're attempting to downsize our holdings and were looking for opinions on the condition and approximate value of these five notes. Paper money is not my area of expertise but I can tell we have four 1923 notes - two red seals and two black, along with a smaller 1937 dollar. Compared to the others the first note is modestly crisp but the rest show quite a bit of wear. I'd like to get some useful information so no buyers are misled down the line. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I see the scanner clipped a few of the images. The bills appeared to be within the scanning field but apparently not. The bills are all intact.

Why is it that a 1923 $1 Canadian note is only worth $30 in VF when an Aussie 1923 10 shilling note (same face value at the time) Is worth $$5750.
Denison Miller, Jas R. Collins 10 shillings /Half Sovereign.

I suspect there were far more Canadian notes made.

There were hundreds of millions of these notes printed.

The rarest Canadian 1923 $1 note would be a purple seal (314,000 printed) and they have a book value of $2,750 in VF.
