It seems like I order a lot of coins in threes, this one is no exception. These coins were late in arriving here as well, compared to how long it takes other coins from the same seller to arrive. I ordered these coins on Christmas day. So, these are also the last of my Christmas coins. Faustina I This is the first woman coin I own now. Also, it's a whopping 10.6 gm. 26mm. I paid $5 for this coin. Originally it was $20 and I watched it and as the price dropped. When it was $5, I grabbed it. Galerius I believe this one to be a Galerius. Although, I am somewhat confused by these coins even after reading articles about them. This coin weighs 5.5gm, is 25.5 mm. I paid $10 for this after watching it drop from $15. Galerius I believe this one is also Galerius. This coin weighs 6.1gm, is 24mm. I paid $9.50 for it, after dropping from $15. Later on I'm going to give them a light scrub and soak in distilled water. I have much better success doing it that way and with a lot of patience. I'm going to be ordering some Ren wax later on because the small container of wax I received from JW came open when I didn't realize it and it dried up. Bummer...

Maybe the above is of use but I don't know 100%, maybe its just a starting point!

Nice coins Gil-galad. I am pretty sure the third coin is actually Maximinus II minted at Heraclea. I am no expert and could be wrong. (Just don't tell my wife) Cheers, -Kurt EDIT: Taking a second look, I agree with the sellers attribution, Galerius

nice coins have fun attributing them. You will always remember coins like these after you attribute them

I'm about to try and attribute the coins right now. The seller has attributed the second coin as a Maximinus Daza Follis. The third one as Galerius. This guy is often wrong in identifying many coins.

I believe the second coin is a Galerius.
IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANUS PF AVG
This obverse legend signifies Galerius as Augustus.
The reverse legend is very difficult to make out. I believe it's
GENIO AVGVSTI CMH
In exergue;
SMNA
or SMN delta.
Either way, I believe it's;
RIC VI Nicomedia 54a/66a
bobbyhelmet: Your research in that thread is very impressive. Thanks a lot!

The third coin is also Galerius, I believe.
The same obverse legend, the end of the legend is worn so it's hard to tell.
IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANUS PF AVG
GENIO IMP-E-RATORIS reverse.
Crescent in right field.
HTB in exergue.
RIC VI Heraclea 53a

I'm pretty sure the seller is wrong again on one coin. lol Of course, I could be wrong too. But I really don't think so this time.

I agree with your attribution of coin #2 Quote: IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANUS PF AVG - Galerius as Augustus GENIO AVGVSTI CMH SMNA or SMN delta RIC VI Nicomedia 54a/66a More info on the CMH monogram here: https://goccf.com/t/102563

I also agree with your attribution of #3 Quote: IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANUS PF AVG - Galerius as Augustus GENIO IMP-E-RATORIS reverse Crescent in right field HTB in exergue RIC VI Heraclea 53a Its possible is Maximinus II but it would have to have a star in left field on the reverse, I can maybe see something there but cleaning may confirm if its dirt or detail. End of visible legend looks like 'IAN' rather than 'INV' to me so I'd say Galerius too. Galerius issued these both with and without the star in LF. As you pick up the knowledge you'll be amazed just how many coins are mis-attributed by sellers, shocking, but also good for bargains sometimes

Thanks a lot for all the help on the attributions. Now it is time to finish this up. I've been having some problems with the Faustina I coin because the coin does not have many details.
I believe it to be;
Faustina I
RIC 1171
DIVA FAV-STINA
SC on reverse.
Ceres standing left holding torch and corn ears.
There is a scratch on the coin so I believe this to be an As. The weight is 10.7gm. I'm using the seller's measurement since I am waiting on my digital caliper. 26mm.
I consulted RIC Volume III but I didn't have much luck making an attribution that way. None of them list the obverse legend break DIVAFAV-STINA as such. Even though one of the photographic plates shows a very similar obverse portrait.
I would appreciate some help on this coin.
