I've had this coin for some time and attributed it to Caracalla but I have never been able to fine a reference for it. Any help would be appreciated.

30mm
16.6 grams

Obverse: AVT M AVP H?
Reverse: the only lettering I can make out is NHC. The reverse is a four column temple with a figure in the center and a coiled snake at the top.

I didn't find your coin yet but here is one similar. The description and photo are from Wildwinds. Not sure about the legends. The obv. legend in the pic looks like yours.

Thanks for the info, it has been attributed as Caracalla, from Augusta Tranjana in Thrace, Moushmov 3075.

This coin is puzzling.

The serpent is an attribute of Asklepios, God of Healing not Apollo. It may be Moushmov 3078 or a variant.
