I posted this in the Quarter Roll Searching thread, but I wanted to get some other opinions.
I was at my bank yesterday and picked up 5 mint rolls for face.
They were: Arizona P Utah P & D US Virgin Islands P & D
I know these go for at least small premiums, but I wanted to ask what all of you would do with them. I dont mind hanging on them, as State/Territory/Park quarters are one of my main interests.
If you were me, would you hang onto them, sell them, break them up etc?
Just curious, thanks for your thoughts.

If they are truely US Mint rolls, then I understand they have a higher premium then bank wrapped rolls. I suggest you look on ebay to see what they are currently selling for to get an idea of their value. Getting them at face value is a nice find as I believe the US Mint rolls sold for $32.95 (or was it $34.95) per pair (P&D)when they were issued.

The State Quarter rolls are black, orange and white while the vi rolls are blue, yellow and white. Us mint/state quarters/usmint.gov, the whole nine. Original mint rolls. I have looked on ebay and know what they are going for. Just curious what everyone else would so with them. Is it something worth hanging onto, from a collector standpoint?

I don't know if they are worth holding on to, but I wouldn't open them. Amazing someone spent close to $18 a roll on them and then just deposited them at the bank.

The AZ & UT mintages were quite a bit higher than the VI (AZ-P 265 million; UT-P 253 million; UT-D 255 million; VI-P 41 million; VI-D 41 million). I doubt that the AZ & UT will be worth much more their US Mint issue price even if that. The VI have a much lower mintage should command a higher value and would probably be worth hanging on to.
