I had a 1867 nickel that I thought was a blank until I saw how underweight it was. I soaked it in vinegar until I could read the date. pics are useless, it is completely smooth. you can only see the date when the light is at the right angle.

My most worn classic silver commemorative ... 1925 Stone Mountain ... honest wear ... no problem coin (except wear).
