When I post something, the number of posts shown for me doesn't go up -- I've been stuck on 521 for a while.

certain parts of the forum do not add to the count. The family section for example and probably this one.

Only posts in "numismatic" parts of the forum add to your post count. Posts in other places, such as Welcome, Family, Contests, General Discussion, Buy/Sell/Trade and here in Support don't count.
