All you have to do is pull the starter cord clean out of the machine and kick it very hard. After you fix the cord they won't let you near it ( a bit like putting the new pair of jeans in with the sheets when you do the washing) never fails mate

I have 2 breeding sows and a big lump of a boar. 2 litters a year normally average 50-60 for the freezer each year. I tried to run poultry but them damned foxes killed them

Yeah we lost a whole lot of chooks to Mr Foxy years ago, never again, the whole boundary chook run now is buried with wire and concrete capping on top. And Mr foxy is no longer a pain as we got rid of it, smart big bugger, tried baiting with 1080 and it just gave it the poops, so we ended up putting traps down and he lost a toe and got away with a trap, 1 week later he was spotted dragging its sorry butt across the paddock and well join the dots. I have never seen a more cunning fox it was very old and even had grey in its fur. We now have a resident dumb fox that knows our chooks and never tries to get them, we see the fox prints walk past the pen, but never tries to dig in -- better the devil you know, as removing that one would lead to another pain taking over. 20 laying hens 1 rooster and 21 chicks, must resist sitting more eggs :)

There is an English book "The making of the working class" by EP Thompson. Outlines the move from barter to the deliberate creation of an economy.
Basically, crown would own the land and let the commoners use it. The land was known as "the commons" and everyone could use it however they wanted to raise livestock or farm.
"The commons" were taken away from the people, all of a sudden people couldn't support themselves off the land - because they had none! And this is where trading on a large scale stops - as people are forced into factory work (see, this is also the start of industrialisation, factories need workers) - factory jobs pay the bucks which are then used to buy the things you need - rather than trade. - EP Thompson's point was the working class was deliberately "made" - hope I simplified that in an understandable way.
Anyways; only way to get rid of money would be to return to localised farming communities which were largely independent of each other. - Which is possible if transportation of goods becomes too expensive or otherwise impossible!

Quote: It is impossible to carry on international trade entirely with bartering, but it probably can be done on a limited scale. Bartering works best at a local level. The reason man invented money is because bartering works so poorly. If you have a way to centralize bartering in a community of 20,000+, it will work "better", but still very inefficiently. If your "local level" is a fishing village, a barter system with everyone only having fish to trade just won't work for long.

Yeah I'm not happy 'cause it's gone along with the .22 semi the semi shotgun and well quite a few but I can't see with all the crap still going on all these years later what the problem was except he wanted to disarm us because he knew what they were about to do and they thought there might be an uprising but I think we lost that after nam or after they broke the waterfront So no they're all gone now along with a lot of our other freedoms, another is crackers but if you never new we had them you don't know what your missing..gee I feel old Anyway I can head shoot a roo at 300m with me little .243 Reload your own ammo and you know where they are going to land Lucky your me mate so I don't have to worry or do I isn't that what they want..now I'm paranoid of trout with the guns and swords

You have no need to worry mate I can't shoot that far I did my 6 years in the army and I just have to keep some of the tools of my ex trade Besides I have an affinity with weapons I'm not allowed to collect firearms but I am allowed to collect a heap of the most deadly and devastating sword ever made. Go figure, a katana against a rifle in a confined space and the katana will win hands down, and these are still legal in WA
