There are numerous solutions to this problem.
1. Do not use cardboard flips.
2. Use the ones with self adhesives
3. Use a standard staple, place on a hard service and hit with a hammer.
4. Use standard staples and pinch with pliers.
5. Use super glue to seal forever.
6. Use tape to seal all edges
7. Hire someone to put your coins in those 2x2's and staple them flat with whatever they can find.
8. Stop collecting coins
9. Place all coins in a jar, can, box.
10. Call that company called Swingline, that makes Staplers and complain to them no one carries their products that staple flat. This will accomplish nothing but then too so will most of the above.
11. I'd suspect that Wizard would carry those.

Virg Marshall has an excellent one around $10.

Not only flat clinch, it's ergonomic, easy-squeeze and will go through 50 sheets without excess effort.

I had 2 different staplers both regulars and both would jam up and I'd want to throw them out. Got the flat stapler from Staples plus 10 thousand staples, used all the staples got more and had no problem at all, best move I've done in a long time.

DBM - stopped by Staples today in search of 10M size staples for my previous MAX brand flat cinch - NO LUCK.

But, per your suggestion, the stapler you advised of, was on sale for $7.99....and it takes regular staples. Thanks!

Staples product #39898
Works great for 2X2's
$9.99
