This is pretty cool, I came across a box of canadian 50 cent coins that I was unaware I had, US 50 cent coins, and what I think are silver dollars, they have 2 people in a canoe and were made in the 60's. The canadian 50 cent coins range from 1941 to 1966 and are in pretty good shape. also a 20 cent newfoundland coin from 1890. If anyone is interested in seeing any certain year or anything let me know I'll post pictures. Edited by Bhann 01/15/2012 07:38 am

I'd like to see the US halves, and the Newfoundland coin... I love when I find stuff I've stashed away. It's like a present to yourself...

Can you determine what grades they are? If not, post a picture of the best King George piece (1941-1952) that you have. Glenn

Could you list all the coins please. There could be key dates, errors to look for. You could post pics of the best condition ones or ones that we could check for different errors or variations. Thanks.

It is hard for me to post pictures, my camera broke, I don't have a scanner, so for now I have to use my android phone camera, which isn't the greatest as you can probably tell, I will certainly make a list of the dates and conditions though.

Here is a list of the canadian 50 cent coins, keep in mind I didn't grade them, nor do I know what most of the abbreviations stand for. There should be 80 of these coins but unfortunatly someone stole quite a few when they were out of my posession for around 10 years, it's a shame really, oh well. x3 x2 and so on are the number of coins from that year in that certain condition, the grades aren't mine so accuracy is unknown.

The american 50 cent coins are:
Grade unknown - 1917, 1934, 1936, 1942 (x2), 1943, 1945, 1946. Graded - 1951 (F), 1958 (VF), 1962 (EF), 1963 (F), 1967 (VF)
One unknown american 50 cent piece, once again grades are not mine so accuracy is unknown.
