Here are some of my smaller fallen horseman coins that I am cleaning. Just using water and a toothbrush. This is the first cleaning with the toothbrush I'm going to let them soak for a week or so before I clean them again.

I'm not sure I would clean these too much other than a light scrub since there is a lot of detail in each coin with some of the original dirt on the coin. Although, more detail could come out with a long soak. I'm kind of leery of ruining coins since I have ruined a couple. The latest ones I've done a little better with.

Those are some nice coins though.

I agree the details are already nice on these 3, but I understand the desire to improve their appearance.
I don't think you can do much damage with a toothbrush and water. A brass brush would be a different matter.

I agree I want to keep the green patina so I'm basically soaking them and gently using the toothbrush on the reverse where I'm trying to bring out a little more detail but I think the first coin is basically done. believe me I've ruined my share of coins in the past also. There is detail under the dirt and I just want to bring it out a little more.
