I was looking at my latest CCN and noticed something that I haven't seen before. The 1929 high 9 listing. It's worth worth than the regular 9.
I was wondering is the difference between the two different 9's subtle or easy to recognize? I have seen a few listed on ebay but can't really tell what I am to look at since there are 2 9's in 1929.
Can you assist me?
Finally, are these scarce?

Not really scarce but the 9 can be hard to determine at first glance. The bottom tail of the 9 lines up with the bottom of the 2. With the standard 9 the tail points under the 2.

yes, The bottom tail of the last/end 9 lines up with the bottom of the 2. With the standard 9 the tail points under the 2.
these are a little scarce and not seen many. I had to look at about 100 1929 dates to find just one!
