It's a genuine error, and correctly described. However, it is not 'extremely rare' and might fetch perhaps $50 on a good day. At $700 each you can all of mine, and I'll pay the postage.

It is nice (in the error sense), the condition is very average. I was looking at it too. It is a very rare error. There'll be less of those out there than the 2000 $1/10c Mule, I can assure you of that. Yass, if you can find me one, I'll give you $100 for it.

Here is a 20¢ version of this error I found last week. I think I know someone who would like it. Just as a matter of curiosity, any guesses as to what it might fetch on ebay? Jeff

Around $50 i'd guess Jeff,if it were UNC probably $75 to $100, I have an UNC one I paid $72 for,it is 2000 though.
That coin for $720 has been for sale for a long time.

Question: What is the REAL market value for this?
Opinions please. (Naw, I am NOT the seller) It is just that I collect errors.

Well my straight, partial collar error 20¢ fetched $52.88. And I am sure it is going to a very good home. Jeff

I would have thought that around the Peter Andrews price would be about right for something like this. They are pretty rare aren't they?

Quote: They are pretty rare aren't they? Over the years, noodling over 1,000 20¢ per week, I have found six 1966 "wavy 2". I have only ever found one like this! Speaks for itself. More people are looking for wavys -that's why they fetch $200+. Jeff

Jeff, I am not surprised at those stats. Thanks for sharing (glad I found that wavy a while back too!)

Here is a very nice one; just sold on ebay for $81. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUSTRALIAN-...em4169522ab9Did anyone here buy it?I only saw it a couple of hours before the end time and sent seller a message to tell how this error occurs. Got a nice thank you reply; think seller genuinely did not know what this error was. I think "flywheel" is a good name for this error. Pictured, a flywheel.Jeff
