I recently picked up a 1963 Franklin half proof that is in great shape for melt value. I've been looking and can't seem to find any information on it, can anyone tell me more about the coin in regards to mint or anything else?

Thanks

With very few exceptions, all proofs were minted at Philadelphia prior to 1968. The specs for your half dollar can be found on the Coin Facts page.
