Does anyone know what a limes (black) denarius is? There is one on ebay of Antonius Pius. Coin looks genuine and is in nice condition. It is from a seller in the Ukraine. With less than an hour to bid the price is only at $9.99 plus shipping.

Those coins are mismatches of portraits, legends, reverse designs and metals. Also, coins of necessity. Better research that coin carefully to make sure it is a limes coin.

Many silver coins when they are dug up are not clean looking as the ones you see online. Many are dark and very dirty. I've seen a few that could be mistaken for AE type coins.

I've been watching the same coin. I believe it to be genuine. And, if it's not, you are only gambling with $10. I'll bet you wasted that amount in the past couple of days on something. Good luck if you decide to bid on it. I won't because you are.
