Found this in a bank roll. The Obverse is nice looking, however the reverse is pretty scratched up.

Thats a nice and unusual find for a roll, but being that it was oddly shapped the rolling machines really took their toll.

That's a great find for a roll. In all the rolls I've searched, I've never seen one that nice.
SCORE!

Very nice. Unfortunate damage by the counting machines though.

for the heck of it, check to see if its a Wide AM. Look at the "F.G." since "AMerica" is missing.

Awesome find!
Was the roll hand wrapped or machine wrapped?
You would think the coin would rip through the paper, since it is odd shaped -- kind of elongated.

Willy13, the FG is far from the Memorial, so it is a Close AM. Thanks for having me check that though. wquinn, bank machine wrapped. I've also found a 1983 in a bank roll. I'll try to post pictures of this one later.

Here is the 1983 off center strike. These are scans, so hope you can see enough detail.

Nice finds, but I'm puzzled by comments of an "odd shape"..the planchets are round, the strike is just off center.
