Hi. Please help identify this coin, I have searched endlessly on the net but not sure where to start as the image isn't obvious, I am talking about the small one I have put it next to a 5p for scale. Thank you all

Doesn't appear to be ancient Roman. Would need to see a larger and clearer image of the coin.

Celtic in style was my guess too. Hope you get it ID'd.

Hi, thankyou all for your comments, I agree after looking at other Celtic coins this suggestion seems probable. Another thing I should mention is that the coin is also concaved. These are the best pictures I can take sorry. Thanks Adam

Sorry, but the images are still to small and unclear. Without better pictures it's going to be next to impossible to ID the coin.

Try standing the coin on a dozen or so other coins, raising it from the background can sometime help the focus. Also take it on a windowsill with natural light if you can, always better than a flash.

To me it looks kind of like one of those Widow Mite coins.

Quote: I have put it next to a 5p for scale Wow - it is small, I thought that was a 10p, it must only be about 8mm across.
