Can anyone tell me why some canadian gold proof coins sell below the price of gold ? I see the same on ebay germany happen .

This particular one was a BIN. The seller obviously didn't have a clue how much he could get for it and priced it too low. I think this is yet another example of a seller who wasn't smart enough to do a little research and lost money as a result.

This auction coin got even less

I think that maybe the reason is that there is a similar
looking low gold 14 carat coin and people without Krause
or reference distrust the high carat coin
