I want a coin counter, but I don't know what to get. US coin.

Automatic hopper is a must, as is separating the different coins, digital counting.

Less important although nice to have is a break down of exactly how many of each coin. Not super concerned with speed, but it better be a lot quicker than I can count by hand.

Not important is automatic roller or tube filler. Also not important is foreign coin rejection, it's all for counting incoming and outgoing coin to see if I'm getting cheated on buys/dumps.

I'm looking at the Cassida C100. Seems to do everything I want. Anybody have hands on?

Really? Nobody else uses a counter? Well, I guess I'll buy it and post up a review.

I've always wondered how often PMD is caused by coin counters and rollers. And as a side note, how reliable is weight for coin counting? I know this isn't helping you with your purchase, but you provoked thoughts!

I can see why most people don't waste time with a coin counting machine. So you dump a pile in one and they are counted. So what? Now you take to a bank and they will count them too so you've gained nothing. If your results are different than theirs, again, so what, they only go by theirs. So now you roll them. Again, many banks still will want them recounted due to all the short roll people playing that short roll game. And for Numismatic purposes, they just mark up coins more.

I want one so I know if I'm getting cheated on the buy/sell. I can shop around for the most profitable counter. I don't want to eat any losses roll hunting that I don't have to. That's what.
