The local coin show last week just provided me with an opportunity to acquire my earliest USA half. I welcome comments regarding grade and variety. It's not a top tier coin by any means, but then, it was affordable!

Congratulations on your bust half acquisition, something I aspire to find for my collection too. It looks to be F to VF with some cleaning.

O-102, I think, and F15-VF20 but I can't tell the originality of the surfaces. Strongly clashed on the reverse. A wonderful coin regardless.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I really love these early series bust coins, and sort of wish the Dansco folks had seen fit to include them in the 7070. But then, there would be lots of folks complaining about impossible holes to fill.
