so I got my new cheap USB camera scope and I'm disappointed, but playing with it anyways. and these are the best pics I could come up with.

Looks like the mint mark took a hit from the west and was simply displaced. A pic of the whole coin (obverse) would help in that the MM orientation with respect to the date should emphasize the slight rotation if my theory is correct. I'm no pro, it's just my humble opinion.
