There are plenty of American WWII-era ships to be found in several non-American series. The Marshall Islands, for example, has issued an extensive series of coins depicting all sorts of WWII-era war machines, including ships.
Example on WorldCoinGallery.
The Pobjoy Mint over in Britain has also issued several coins featuring American ships, struck in the name of places like Gibraltar and the Isle of Man, like
this one. Per
th Mint has also jumped on the bandwagon with coins like
this in the name of the Cook Islands.
There's even an
Australian coin depicting the USS Houston.
