My uncle clams a friend of his has a nickel that appears to be normal but upon closer inspection you can see part of a quarter also. Does anyone know of such a coin or if it is a fake? sorry I don't have a picture of it

I don't know of any in existence, but without a picture it is hard to say if it is real or not.

Is the image of the quarter incuse?

It is possible to take a nickel, put a quarter on top of it, and then hammer on the quarter to put the image of the quarter on the nickel.

Plenty of quarters on nickel planchets, but not with Jeff's image. Sounds like a vise job.

Two options: (1) Quarter on a nickel planchet or a (2) vise job/fakeof some sort. Need a picture. Probably a fake as I never seen a partial of option (1).
