any older obsolete paper denominations? I would imagine that any $5,000 and $10,000 are already in the hands of collectors and not a single one has been turned into a bank in so many years (unless it was stolen from a collection), but what about 500 or 1,000 dollar bills? Have any of you found these at the bank for face value?

Might be difficult...as I understand it anything over $100 that turns up at a bank is sent back to the fed to be destroyed.

Or, in proper nomencalture - "Not Reissued".
