I is stamped in red ink with "trusteeship terminated and revoked ab initio". Does anyone know what this means? Was this bill supposed to be shredded or something?

A picture of the note would probably be helpful, but ab initio is a Latin term meaning "From the beginning". Altogether that is an interesting phrase to be stamped on a $1 bill. Could be someone goofing around.

Sounds to me like someone trying to make a political statement about their belief in the illegitimacy of the government.
