I just did my first box of quarters. Was just searching for silver. I edge search too so I didn't really open them until I dumped them. But I was able to edge search about 12 ATB Quarters. If I looked through the box, I wonder how many more there were..

Well, it took me over a week to sort and tabulate my box of quarters as real life got in the way. So, finally, here are my results.
Very nice!

jbuck, let me suggest an album. We have 5 of these and I LOVE them.
Thank you, but I intend to buy a Dansco for them. I have just not done it yet.

That is awesome that you found that many in a single box. Good luck on finding the rest. I still haven't found any 2011 quarters yet, but I only search a few rolls every few months.

That's funny, so did I. I settled in the 8146; it's nice how it's one year per page, one design per row, with the blurb for each park. I figured I'm already chopping up mint sets for other denominations, I might as well have a nice place to put the quarters... And I finally have an excuse to break up those silver proof sets... And it's only $14.95 per year to add on the clad quarter sets... And I only have to go back one year to get the brilliant finish 2010 quarters I don't have yet...

Of course, that means I need to move my Sacagaweas over to a circulation+proof album... And I'll have to break down and get a Presidential dollars album sometime... And I'll have to get the new circulation+proof cent and nickel albums when they finally come out... And I'll have to find something to do with the leftover silver proof dime and half dollar...

I think I would be more tempted to hoard up on the ATB, I don't know why but they're just a tough pull. The mintage figures are ridiculously low compared to the State Quarters.

They do seem to be flying under the radar. I mean, you heard EVERYBODY talking about collecting State Quarters, even people who would never collect any other kind of coin. Most of the public isn't even aware of the ATB Quarters.

It's a shame too (or perhaps a blessing?) because the designs are so much nicer than the State Quarters.

A domino effect!

I agree. I was really impressed with how that first filled page looks, compared to my Statehood Quarter album.

I normally roll search nickels but I recently converted a box of nickels into quarters using the vending machines at my work. In that $100 of quarters I found every year / design from 1965 to 2008 along with a couple of territory and ATB Quarters. I haven't sorted the years for mint marks yet.
