82-D-Nickel-Question

I heard good condition 82 and 83 P/D are worth something in good condition because they didn't produce mints of these...

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Well just from the obverse I would guess about AU53... How much is it worth? About .50 cents?

Yeah I can get the other side if needed. I'm just trying to get an estimate for when I'm searching, if I have any nickels in worse condition than this, toss them back?

Thanks for your response Lincoln, I appreciate it :)

Well I'm not a nickel guy but if I found a penny worth 50 cents I'd keep it. Its worth more than face value and might add up if I could get a bunch of them and sell them in a large batch :)

EDIT: Well it says they made 460 million of them so its not too rare... But its melt value is $0.0584677 if that helps at all lol

Like I said I am not a nickel guy, I am just bored :)

Gotcha, I have about 10 82/83 nickels that are similar to this. Maybe I can sell a batch. Thanks again Lincoln. :D

And 5.00 for this P

82-D-Nickel-Question
She saw how easily I sold the rolls last spring/summer, and wanted a piece of that. Keep an eye out, they're generally not pulled.
'83, abit different as nothing constant on these, This '83D, D mind you, went for 4.00 + 1. ship yesterday

Valuewisw, and I'm going strictly bt completed ebay sales, is really the only accurate e-book on coin values, what some will pay. Otherwise, in print it's all conjecture.
