Need some help with this odd ball, new to collecting and the first hand full out my savings this came up. The date stands out because it says 1934 or something which is impossible. Then there is the clading thing, strange never even noticed this till started studing my coins. I find myself looking at everything I get now, almost ocd!Thank you all for your time and hopefully some answers!

It's just heavily corroded.

that would cause the clad to seperate from coin?

This pic really doesn't do it show it well. I'm tring to get a better one because it really not that corroded. Any suggestions? Its really nice looking, the copper shines threw nice, there lookes to be something else stamped on it causing this distortion,I'm new so not sure on the proper way to get good pic,this is with phone.

Could be acid damage and it is probably from the 1980's,'81 or '84.

Either is environmental damages or acid like John1 said.
