These coins were originally sold by the Mint under the condition that the number minted was determined by the number of orders received by a predetermined date. In this series, the number minted per issue is around the 20,000 mark.

Not a bad buy, actually. You have to ask yourself: 'Does this coin sit nicely in my collection?'. The answer for me has never been a problem.

More commonly, I suppose most collectors have realised at times that they may have spent more than they had budgeted for. Gives you a guilty conscience when you have some bills to pay. Years later, when the bills have long since been forgotten is when you are able to fully appreciate what you have purchased years before.

Nice coin erkle
I have to be one of the worst affected people for impulse buying so I understand where you are coming from
But then again 90% of the stuff I buy on impulse works out great
I just bought the 2006 mint set to get the 1 and 2 cent coins, There is another year after they were discontinued but I have forgotten which.
When I finally remember it I will have to get that one as well or my set will be incomplete

as long as the boy get a kick from it I'm happy, but if I dont stop buying I will be bussing everywhere I go. might be time to go through the florins and sell some I'm afraid, I'm not in debt but I will be soon if I keep buying without selling something.

I hope you are right sel and I will look back, glad I went without other things to buy that coin. I have stopped looking at ebay when I get bored as I just cant help myself.
