1983 Lincoln Double Ear? - Coin Community Forum

buffalojohn New Member United States 31 Posts	Posted 02/07/2012 4:39 pm Hello--I found this last night while searching rolls. It looks to have a lobe or ear shaped object below Lincolns "given" ear. I compared it to a BU in my Dansco album and they don't look the same in that area. Also my BU Lincoln is red and the funky ear one is a yellow almost brass color. wrongalot Pillar of the Community United States 608 Posts	Posted 02/08/2012 11:44 am You may want to take a soft toothbrush to it, I have some like this, and it turned out to be dirt that formed around some of the bumps and over time formed a permanent formation and made it look like an extra ear.
