Hello--I found this last night while searching rolls. It looks to have a lobe or ear shaped object below Lincolns "given" ear. I compared it to a BU in my Dansco album and
they don't look the same in that area. Also my BU Lincoln
is red and the funky ear one is a yellow almost brass color.
Just curious---John

A closer image of the ear might help us to see what it is?

Thats the best my camera will do. My SLR is long
gone so my Olympus digital with macro is it.

You may want to take a soft toothbrush to it, I have some like this, and it turned out to be dirt that formed around some of the bumps and over time formed a permanent formation and made it look like an extra ear. But if it is raised, may be different thing.
