I need help with these two 1982 cents. The 1982-P weight is 2.53G. and the 1982-D weight is 3.11G. Both look like small date to me. If so are they worth keeping.
Thanks.

I think the D is a large date. The large date has both loops of the 8 same size and 2 is not curved. The small date has a little loop on the top of the 8 and a bigger loop on the bottom and the 2 is curvey coming down from the loop to the base.---HTH---John

If it had been a small date copper(They did not mint any small date copper in Denver).Small date zinc MS-65 has a tiny ($2.00) premium, others not so much.

I think it was BadThade that said he was keeping all the SD he came across and that's when I started keeping them too. I now have three or four rolls of SD P's and D's.
