Last night I found a reasonably nice 1997 "Smithy" NFC coin. It has the "C" mintmark on it. According to my "McDonald" there were only 102213 struck. Not easy to find in this condition. I was expecting to find the regular "Smithy" reverse and was looking forward to comparing this with the other "near uncirculated" Smithy in my collection. You see, my noodling exercise involves constantly checking for better condition coins to replace the "best representative" in my existing collection... ...imagine my surprise at finding this "other" Smithy.
