So I finally got me a USB digital Microscope. So I am experimenting, thought I would post some laminations, and then move on to the Double Dies, MM, RPM's etc....

R. What kind of light does you scope have? A picture might be interesting to see what it is. It seems light enough, but a little bit of glare for BU coins.

coop,
It has eight led lights, adjustable illumination, adjustable white balance, gamma, backlight comp, brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation. It works pretty good, better than what I had before. And it only cost around $50.00. ONLINE from Walmart...
So I am still trying to figure out how to use it, and get the best pictures I can...These are my first pictures..

On full images of coins they will work OK. But when you start taking micro images, the extra light with be a problem. One light source is best. Are the lights hot? If not then you might try a plastic grocery bag taped of the lighing to difuse the glare for BU Coins. An image of the setup might be helpful if you want suggestions for the micro photos.
